Very moving experience. The tour guides had a very lovely yet sensitive temperament. Our organiser (for the trip there and back) was very friendly and approachable. Short opportunity to pop in to the cafe and grab a take-away option if you want to opt out of the packed lunch. All in all a day to remember, and it went smoothly.

Excellent opportunity to see Auschwitz and learn from knowledgable guides. We were picked up from hotel before the allocated time which made me feel a bit rushed but the driver was a very good English speaker and able to tell us what was happening all the time. I was surprised that we weren’t staying in the small minibus group but going to join a larger group when we got to Auschwitz. We arrived with time to get drinks and toilets but we didn’t realise that you could get drinks from a smaller takeaway cafe rather than the more expensive restaurant we were directed to. Getting our own headphones with a personal guide was great because most of the time you could hear the guide and follow what they were saying. The guide has quite a strong accent so I didn’t catch it all and there were times in the building when the connection didn’t work with her microphone so you missed bits. Overall though it was amazing. Be aware there are a lot of groups at the site.

This is a place you must visit if you are in Krakow. This huge monument holds the history of all the people that died and suffered in the hands of the Nazis. The tour guide was excellent, explained everything in detail and sharing stories of the prisoners. Definitely recommend. In my opinion you should not visit this place without a tour guide as you will miss important information.
