Lovely time. We had a short film at the beginning with one of the actors talking us through the timeline of Jane Austin's family. Then we followed the signs through to the dressing up room. That was really good. Then we had tea in the tea room. I felt like I had learnt a lot more about Jane Austins background. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Would definitely recommend this.

My experience at the Jane Austen Centre was absolutely fabulous. I was already lucky enough to be in Bath for the Jane Austen Festival so expectations was high.. Right at the start the actors at the centre were all brilliant, a special shout out to Mr Wickham who was a fabulous rake from start to finish.... The centre itself was great and packed with loads of information on Jane and the Austen family.

This a relatively short tour of a Georgian house which would have been of a style occupied by Jane Austen. Staff were informative and pleasant. I felt morecould have been made of the fact she lived in a house on the same street. Also illuminating further on the character, acting as our guide could have added more to tge experience. However ntrip recommended
