    Start your food tour of Amsterdam with a walk from Central Station to the city center, passing historic landmarks such as Chinatown, Dam Square, the 800-year-old Oude Kerk (Old Church) and the 15th-century Waag (Weigh House). Learn about the food culture of the Netherlands as you sample local specialties such as stroopwafel (caramel filled waffles), Gouda cheese, kroket (croquettes) and herring or kibbeling (battered, fried white fish).       Relaxed and interesting private tour with delicious food

      I would always recommend the private tour. In addition to the culinary influence, you also get a historical one, whereby, in contrast to the boat tours or hop on/hop off, you can also ask questions that can almost always be answered. The private guide was very personable and so we experienced a relaxed, almost 3-hour tour, in which we were able to take a lot with us. The dishes were all very tasty and you should definitely start the tour with an empty stomach ;)

      Great combination of sightseeing and food tastings. We learned so much about Amsterdam with this tour and the food tastings were great!! Our guide Tony was really friendly and had so much knowledge about Amsterdam. We enjoyed all the food tastings, especially the Dutch pancakes. Highly recommended!
