Discover more about the fine art of brewing and learn about customs and traditions concerned with drinking beer. Visit the main attractions of the town, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the original locations of the Bamberg beer war, meet the Säufermännla, and sample delicacies of the town in a pub brewery. Along the way, see the Pfahlplätzchen, the Eisgrube with the Upper Parish Church, the Domberg, and the Sandstraße.

We liked it very much!!

The tourist guide was very nice and did her "thing" great. Since we were traveling in the group only as a family (no other visitors) we could make the tour very individual and she has responded to our requests and questions. Not the typical city tour. Very relaxed and not boring !! Was very interesting. The beer tasting was delicious and she could tell us a lot about the history and beer production. We were able to implement the tips she gave us for the afternoon session. Thank you Mrs. Maaß !! again and again.....

Was very entertaining and informative. We learned a lot about the history of beer and brewing, including details that were new to us although we thought we already knew everything about the subject. The rehearsals were fun too... ....and nobody can do anything about the bad weather.

It was great

The tour of the city of Bamberg with a city guide (I think his first name was Bernhard) was very, very great, very friendly young man with a lot of knowledge that he passed on. Would do this tour again. The beer tasting at the end was particularly great. keep it up it was great.

You shouldn't expect a tour of the STardt, since it's really more about the beer and you can't walk much in 60 minutes. Our guide was super friendly. The beer tasting place was great - we were lucky enough to be able to stay afterwards and had a delicious dinner.

We did the tour with Matthias. Very entertaining, nice and competent. was fun 25 people took part in the tour. The last stop on the tour was in front of the Schlenkerla. There were a lot of funny people on the street and it was so loud that you could hardly hear Matthias.
