A lovely two hour walk with Libby who was a great tour guide. Fantastic insight in to the life of Anne Frank and Amsterdam in WW11. Just loved understanding about the metal plaques on the floor - so sad. Pity we couldn’t get tickets for Anne Frank House but that was not the fault of this tour. You need to book about 6 weeks ahead to get tickets.

amazing tour! really amazing guide (Alec). he had his own personalized touch to the tour. very poignant to stand in the places where some of the massacres happened. always tied it back to Anne Frank. he provided context, meaning, situational awareness and his personal opinion. one of the most brilliant tours that i have done and i will highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in WW2 or Amsterdam or Jewish culture or just wanting to expand their horizons. He had everyone engrossed the entire time.

We had gone to the Anne Frank House the day before. We took this tour, which started in the Jewish Quarter and ended at the Anne Frank house. The tour added another dimension to Anne Frank and really complimented what we had already seen. Peter was our guide and did really well with his explanations and questions answered. I would recommend doing both this tour and the Anne Frank house (which is separate from this tour and you need to book tickets in advance.
