Great way to use up a day, lot of variety of animals to see, very clean and well organised zoo. There were plenty of places to stop and rest and the gardens were just amazing. The animals looked well cares for in suitable environments. I even saw animal babies with their mom, which tells me the animals are really well taken care of.

We enjoyed the various paths and landscaping for the animal groupings, allowing them plenty of space. The reptile, insect, and marine houses were also very interesting, as well as the "jungle" house we climbed through. There was also a wonderful playground for the children, and some exhibits had "hands on" activities. It was a lovely way to spend a couple hours, and would be an especially great place to take children.

Booked to visit during a 3 day trip to Amsterdam. This zoo is beautiful, the enclosures the animals in are well kept. The grounds themselves are stunning. The elephant enclosure blew me away especially all the water surrounding them with big koi carp in. Would definitely recommend and come back when I next visit Amsterdam. A must see :)
