Experience how marijuana became an institution in Amsterdam, and go beyond the Rasta cliché of ganja culture on a unique walking tour of the city. Discover the special atmosphere of the coffeeshops where the drug is legally sold, starting with an introduction to the cannabis scene at one of Amsterdam's oldest coffeeshops on Dam Square. Stroll around the city with your knowledgeable guide, stopping at some of Amsterdam's best coffeeshops, pubs and other sites that only a local can know. Visit 3 different coffeeshops and an Irish pub, hearing about the history of the drug and the drug policies of the local authorities. End your ganja tour at the Rembrantplein. Choose the optional rolling tutorial on booking, and get a short walking tour of the Red Light District, followed with a tutorial on how to roll a joint. Choose to spend an extra half an hour and explore the famous flower market and a hidden side of Amsterdam, with a bonus coffeeshop.

Erik, Jeevan and Selman gave us an amazing tour of local coffee shops and a great amount of interesting facts and trivia about the city, its culture and everything in between. The visited locations were hidden gems with next to no tourists and a great atmosphere. I can highly recommend this tour for anyone at all. Very friendly and competent guides.

Guide Eric was in a very good mood, the tour was very interesting. The participants were involved, so it didn't get boring. The tour was booked in German. There were also French people on the tour, so our guide held the tour in English. If someone can't speak English, there would certainly have been a problem of understanding. But Eric could also speak German and French. I didn't find the guide right away at the meeting point - but the hotline was able to help very quickly - Eric had already tried to reach me in the meantime. It was also great that the tour took place, even though we were only 3 participants.

The tour was beyond great. Erik Our guide was really a joker. He made the tour with so much fun, wit, energy and commitment that you would like to spend the whole day with him. In addition, he is an absolute language genius, so you can talk to him in German, English, French and Dutch.
