Whether it's your first time to Athens and the Acropolis or one of many, this ingenious structure will never cease to take your breath away. But Athens is not just the Acropolis, it is a thriving modern metropolis with much to explore. Start the day at the Syntagma metro station, where you will enjoy a brief visit to the metro Museum and its fascinating archaeological artifacts from daily life in ancient Athens that came to light during the construction of the metro. Continue on to the National Gardens and pass the neoclassical architectural design of Zappeion Hall. From this vantage point, you can see the remaining colossal columns of the Temple of Zeus, as well as Hadrian’s Arch. The tour then continues to the Acropolis, entering from the southern slope to avoid the crowds, and the great Dionysus Theatre, the most significant theatre of its kind in Europe. It was my first stay in Athens, and this private tour was a fantastic way to discover the landmarks of this city. Dimitris was the perfect host, very attentive and knowledgeable. He took me comfortably from one destination to the next in his car and told me about their history and importance. The day ended with a meal in a wonderful authentic restaurant, far from the tourist areas, with delicious home-cooked food. What I particularly liked: Even though we looked at a lot, I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Personal requests (e.g. preferences on where to go or where to stay longer) were taken care of at any time. In Athens, you can discover a lot very well on foot. However, the driving service gives a welcome rest in between places. A great experience!

Had a great day! Picked up near our B&B. Beautiful authentic boat. Delicious lunch, freshly prepared, on board and something for everyone on the different islands. Cycling, swimming, site seeing, history... We were served at our beck and call by Sam and associates! During lunch the tzatziki was gone, but Sam made sure I got a whole portion to take home when I said goodbye. Really great and definitely recommended!

Athens is hot and you always have a guide with an air conditioned car and cold water waiting. Wonderful to know exactly what to do and where to go. It does not include fees or food you’ll be paying those.

Nico is very kind and attentive, he was always on time and very attentive to our needs, highly recommended!

Great day, staff were really friendly & helpful, will def do again on next trip to Athens
