Next, get wet and cross the Guadalhorce River. Take some fun before and after pictures before taking a break. You will also experience special circuits for quads in the Viso area. Take time to observe nature at a safe and gentle pace that is suitable for all ages and beginners and that ensures the environment is protected.

Almeria: Tabernas Desert 4x4 Tour

2. Almeria: Tabernas Desert 4x4 Tour

Hop on your 4x4 and discover the landscapes of the Tabernas Desert Natural Park. Take in the sights of its rock formations caused by erosion, known as the “badlands” or wastelands. Make several stops throughout the tour to discover the geology of Tabernas in depth. During your tour, also learn about the Westerns filmed here and learn some of the secrets of Western cinema. Film director Sergio Leone chose these landscapes to film emblematic feature films, such as “Death Had a Price” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.

Almería: 4x4 Tour of Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park

3. Almería: 4x4 Tour of Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park

After meeting your guide in Almeria, you will head out for the natural park with your guide and skilled 4x4 driver. The first stop of the tour is at the Fishing Association at Cabo de Gata, where you will see a defensive tower and the San Miguel Church. Next, you will be driven to the Mermaid Reef where you will be able to see the beautiful landscapes featuring rock formations that peek from the water.  Next drive up a volcanic mountain, from where you will be able to see over 9 kilometers of untouched beaches. After taking in the view, head down to these beaches where you'll be able to see a lava tongue and volcanic ash along the way. In the summer the tour will stop at one of the beaches for a swimming break before heading to an abandoned farm in the park. The last stop of the tour will be the salt flats which are home to many flamingos. Here you will be able to get out and explore the salt flats yourself, before leaving the park and concluding the tour

The quads are older. But everything worked out. Our guide was super nice and we had a lot of fun. The nature reserve is at the airport, so the noise caused by quads is not that significant. The herons didn't feel bothered.

It was very cool to do! Highly recommended & a sweet guide. You get to places you normally wouldn't. We were both sad that the tour was already over. very nice
