Antelope Canyon is a testament to the power and beauty of nature's artistic touch. The canyon was formed through the erosion of Navajo Sandstone, sculpted by flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes. Here is where your trip starts: -Las Vegas Your tour starts with pick-up from your Strip or Downtown (Freemont Street Area) hotel in Las Vegas. Then you'll hit the road heading to Antelope Canyon. -Antelope Canyon To preserve the natural integrity of Antelope Canyon and ensure visitor safety, access to the canyon is limited to guided tours. These knowledgeable guides ensure visitors have a safe and enriching experience while respecting the canyon's natural beauty. Few geological formations are as picturesque and awe-inspiring as Antelope Canyon X, a magnificent slot canyon east of Page in Northern Arizona. With tall winding walls, it’s a monumental sandstone sculpture. A photographer’s dream, the canyon is known for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly down into the openings of the canyon, creating a supernatural appearance. -Lake Powell/Wahweap Overlook Surprise photo spot! Las Vegas: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend Tour with Lunch

5. Las Vegas: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend Tour with Lunch

This tour offers two options for the Antelope Canyon, based on your selection when placing an order. The difference between Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon: The Upper Antelope Canyon is completely on the ground, easy for walking. You can observe the light beams radiating from the top of the canyons. The best visiting time is at noon, from 10:00am-2:00pm Visiting Upper Antelope Canyon requires climbing several staircases up and down. It is much longer and some places are much narrower, difficult for hiking. You can see the dreamlike shapes and curves of rocks under the constantly changing light. The Lower Antelope Canyon is located several miles from the Upper Antelope Canyon. Prior to the installation of metal stairways, visiting the canyon required climbing pre-installed ladders in certain areas. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Horseshoe Bend: The name was inspired by its unusual shape, a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River. It is located four miles southwest of Page, AZ, within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Standing near the steep cliff above Horseshoe Bend, you will enjoy the best scenic view that has a breathtaking 1,000 foot drop.

What people are saying about Antelope Canyon X

Overall rating

4.5 / 5

based on 1,273 reviews

It was a very early pick-up time, 6am and had to be at the pickup point around 5:45. Long hours "sitting down" in a bus to get and come back (4.5 hours each way). Antelope Canyon X is the best of lower and higher because it has both features of the individual ones. Do not bring a lunch, there is a rest stop. There, a place called Bee's or something like that, they have hot a very nice homemade hot and cold prepared food (mini buffet) and al sorts of healthy options. Worth it - made my own salad with plenty of choice in veggies, cheeses, dressings, protein, etc.

Antelope Canyon X was a great choice. They seem to run much smaller tour numbers than some of the bigger options in the area, and the result is that the tour felt completely unrushed. (I was initially hesitant to do any of the canyons on account of friends' tales of "tour bus groups being herded through," but that wasn't my experience with Canyon X at all). All the staff were tops as well, but a special acknowledgment goes out to our guide Lane and driver Clyde. I really can't recommend this highly enough.

Started with a confirmation via WhatsApp was great. We could arrange the meeting point first and then the pick up time, really professional. The trip was great. We really enjoy and love it. Thanks to our tour guide Marvin from National Park Exp , we really appreciate his good job. And thanks to the driver too, Oscar, he drove us safely and sound through the day.

Van our tour guide was extraordinary and made this tour a memorable one. He took great photos and kept us entertaining throughout the tour.

This is indeed incredible experienced should be added in your bucket list.
