What people are saying about Appian Way

Our family, had a wonderful time with our guide, Klaas, despite heavy rain and a stop to change a punctured tyre. Since there were only 4 of us, Klaas took a lot of time to ensure our safety when crossing the road, share with us his knowledge about Rome and his own experience riding bicycle solo from Europe to Asia. We stopped by to have enjoyable lunch, simple but delicious pasta with great conversation with our guide. After we reached the end of the tour, Klaas shared with us his Dutch snacks. I would recommend Klaas and this company to everyone. They are very professional and even offered to refund us in full, when we were already at their shop, if we chose to cancel it because of the rain forecast. You can tell that they are good people and we glad that we went ahead with it although our shoes were soaking wet and we had to buy 3 new shoes . The e-bikes were in good conditions with front pocket to keep your phone, poncho and water bottles. 5 stars tour

The tour enables you to experience nature in close proximity to the center. The e-mountain bikes were of very high quality and it was a lot of fun to ride them over the sometimes bumpy Via Appia. Elena is a great tour guide and inspires with her narrative style at the various stops on the route. We had the impression of getting to know the “other” Rome, away from the cultural and historical sights and the tourist crowds. We recommend!

Excellent tour that takes you to so many interesting places in just half a day. The city walls, aqueducts, catacombs, Via Appia, etc. One of the best things we did in Rome! Highly recommended. Prepare for a bumpy ride on Via Appia, but the e-mountain bikes make it easy and fun. Did this tour with my 13-year old and he had a huge smile in his face the whole day. It’s a great activity for families with teens as well.

Definitely a highlight. Amazing to see countryside so near the city. The route was beautiful, delicious food at the farmer market and our guide was very knowledgeable and really highlighted the grandeur and importance of the aqueduc system for ancient Rome. Highly recommend!

That was my best experience in Rome so far. The Via Appia is a stunning ensemble of nature and culture. And the best way to experience them is by bike.
