On your day tour of Corinth, you will see ancient ruins, the Corinth Canal, and then a charming coastal town.

The ruins of ancient Corinth are the most famous attractions, and they reveal much about the city’s past. See the Temple of Apollo, a huge area dedicated to religious rituals and ceremonies.

Explore the Agora, an important public space where citizens met to discuss or take part in civic activities. Learn about what life was like in ancient Corinth on this tour of the city. At 8:30 in the morning, you'll depart from your hotel in Athens. You'll be driven by a private guide and driver to the Corinth Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the Corinth Canal, you'll have one hour of free time to explore by foot. You'll then depart for the ancient city of Corinth.

You'll have time to explore the Archeological Museum and walk along the many winding streets before arriving at your hotel in Corinth for lunch at a local restaurant.

The tour continues with a visit to the Ancient Agora of Corinth, the site where Socrates taught, Plato and Aristotle studied and Aeschylus wrote. You'll have 30 minutes here to explore the great temple of goddess Athena who was worshiped in Corinth as well.

Next it's onto the Acropolis of Corinth which began as one building then grew into a temple complex then into the Citadel of Corinth. There was an ancient port on the Corinthian bay of the Saronic gulf. The Acropolis of Corinth, which had been a temple complex and then a citadel, is now open to the public as it has been since 1893.

Archaeological excavations have revealed numerous buildings and temples in various states of preservation. In addition to the well-preserved Temple of Apollo, the most impressive of the Corinthian temples is the Temple of Apollo Epicurius The village of Napfilio is near the canal and is one of Greece's most beautiful villages. Napfilio's most famous landmark is its old monastery, which sits high on a hill overlooking the village. The Canal of Nafplion, which starts in the town of Nafplio and ends at the ancient city of Corinth, passes through many towns and villages. Napfilio is one of the most famous villages on this canal. It is a beautiful small village located near an old monastery.

The name Napfilio comes from the word "neb-pilio" which means 'nose'. This is due to the fact that in ancient times, the inhabitants of Napfilio had an acute sense of smell and could distinguish between the forms of animals by scent. The town is situated at an altitude of 987 meters, and it is noteworthy for its olive trees. At the end of this amazing tour, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Athens.
