Full description

Be amazed by the modern engineering masterpiece of the Corinth Canal (Isthmus Canal). Discover and explore the ancient passage from the Corinthian to Saronic Gulf, as well as the sub-ducting bridge. There you can enjoy a coffee or snack at a wonderful cafe as you admire the views and wait for boats to pass through the canal. Following that, relive the expedition to Troy at Mycenae, it was the kingdom of Agamemnon and is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll then move on to discover the picturesque town of Nafplio, appreciating the Venetian architecture which exists there. You'll then be captivated by the excellent acoustics of the Epidaurus Theater, one of the most popular archaeological sites in Greece and a UNESCO-listed monument. At the conclusion of your experience, you'll be returned back to Athens.

A highlight of our trip. Yannis was a very friendly and knowledge guide, and entertained us and the kids with loads of facts and wonderful stories. You can't get this type of information and flexibility on big group tours! All of the locations we visited were amazing, Nafplio being a favorite. Yannis showed us to a fab authentic restaurant for lunch, and took us for a short walk through the lovely old town after. Definitely take a day to explore outside of Athens, we cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
