On this vivid walking street art and culinary tour, discover some of the secret urban locations. The tour will give you an excellent opportunity to venture off the beaten track to photograph and appreciate the most interesting graffiti around Athens. Sample mouth-watering Greek street food whilst becoming familiar with the alternative neighbourhoods and local street artists. During this cultural tour, you will also discuss how certain street art reflects on social and political issues. Begin your exploration at Gazi, a busy neighbourhood which hosts a number of contemporary art venues, and graffiti around Persephone Square. From here, you will stroll to Metaxourgeio, an area that attracts young artists and boasts plenty of works of street art. You will then visit the hip district Psirri, where all kinds of dramatic street art decorates the walls. The area brings to life all kinds of images and the area is considered an outdoor gallery by art lovers from around the world. Enjoy a Greek coffee in this artistic environment before moving on to Monastiraki, to sample the most famous Greek street food of all... souvlaki, and if there's time, you will indulge in a delicious plate of 'loukamades', Greek honey doughnuts!

Nice tour, enthusiastic guide and tasty Greek snacks

I really enjoyed the tour with Anna. Since I am Greek myself, I would not have been able to discover these places and traditional taverns myself.! Great city and I can always recommend it Bravo to Anna, very hearty and helpful that you are doing well!
