Sites were fascinating!Great opportunity to learn about Greek history & the beginning of our civilisation. Bill/Vasillus is an excellent guide, deserves more than 5 stars! Personable, shared so much history, mythology & context of each of the sites. At the end of the tour, he played a word game on the bus & taught us the entomology of many English words that are Greek in origin.

The day was well organized. The meeting point was described very precisely and easy to find. The group was small so we all fit in one van. The tour guide Bill was just perfect: an archaeologist with a master's degree who speaks perfect and understandable English and can impart his knowledge with passion and enthusiasm. I learned a lot of new things that day. Of course you have to be interested in history on a tour like this. All three places have their own appeal and uniqueness. There was always enough time to explore everything. You also spend some time on the streets, which was very entertaining and interesting due to the appropriate explanations of the landscape and historical events. All in all, this day was the highlight of my week-long vacation in Athens.

The whole trip was lovely! Nafplio is definitely a city you want to put on your list in case you’re visiting Athens, it’s so beautiful, the buildings have Venetian influence and you’ll feel like you’re in Italy. Our guide was very nice and helpful, full of information and explanations about each place. He was very friendly and gave us suggestions about places in Athens. I suggest reserving the trip during the week if you can, we found Nafplio almost empty, even the guide was surprised
