It took 3 freezing cold nights to spot a magnificent Aurora Borealis so first of all, if you come some days, try it every night. In fact, with this tour, if you can't see it, you can participate the following evening for free by contacting the tour operator. Our guides have always been different and each of them particular in its own way, the constant is always the hot chocolate that pleases perceived -16º. Thanks to Astris and Hans for the first two attempts but Bryn immediately found the right place where we saw and photographed a splendid aurora, the cold and the wee hours paid off immediately. In addition, this tour also includes free access to the dawn museum (only that costs 15 euros each) and where they will offer you, in addition to viewing the dawn via VR, a hot drink.

This was our first time in Iceland and we were lucky enough to experience the northern lights on our first night. Daniel (The Aurora Whisperer) was a great guide with good humour, and even provided us with some hot chocolate. His knowledge on the aurora was second to none and explained it all in an easy to understand way. The location we went to was by a church which was beautiful and a great place to experience the aurora. Daniel was also very helpful to everybody looking for advice on taking photos as he is also a professional photographer. Highly recommend doing this, a real bucket list item checked off!

The tour was unique. We were lucky enough to see amazing northern lights. However, you should know that at the agreed start meeting point, about 200 other people are waiting for the tour to start and there is quite a chaos when it comes to the allocation to the buses. After that, however, it was a great experience.

The most breathtaking scenery (even though we didn’t manage to see any lights). Highly recommend this experience.

Absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to see a great display. A truly fantastic experience
