Hear about the Catholic legend of St. Denis, the first bishop of Paris, who was decapitated. Explore the official necropolis of the French Monarchy on this 2.5-hour guided tour. In all there are tombs of 43 kings and 32 queens, from the 7th-century King Dagobert through Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. If you're interested in culture, you've got to see it, very impressive. The best way to get there is by Metro 13. This Gothic cathedral is the burial place of most of the French kings. very impressive. I don't understand why there were so few visitors.

Wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide, Humberto. He knew his history and his art history--both essential for a tour of such an important site!

Wonderful visit despite the cancellation of the guided tour! We hired an audio guide which allowed us to do the tour at our own pace and it was great!

The Church itself was beautiful, but the crypts were next level! Amazing and so interesting! This and the Louvre were my 2 favorite things in France!

Very impressive. The kings of France all united in their final resting place. Very nice church.
