excellent tour! medium-sized group. our group was 48 people split across two tour guides. we all took one tour bus together to get to the castle (when there are less people, they take trains to get to the castle). the actual inside of the castle itself is a 30 minute guided tour, separately provided by the state of Bavaria. sure it's short and no pictures are allowed but the inside of the castle is super interesting and I would still recommend paying the extra fee to go in. outside of the castle, the tour guide takes you around to all the different viewpoints, shows you the best places to eat in the area, and tells you all the history you need to know to appreciate what you're seeing. I also had time to check out the outside of the nearby hohenschwangau castle. the entire experience lasted from around 9:15 - 6:30pm, it takes around 2 hours to drive from Munich to the castle area.

Ursula the guide makes it interesting. she is also knowledgeable.. the driver Senat was also very customer oriented. both are a good team

This was a great experience; partially guided with plenty of time on our own.

Very fun excursion to see Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castles!

Mario was very informative and ready to answer any question.
