Go past the famous Nikolai Church, and the Specks Hof Passage mall. Breath in the aroma of fresh food from the small Snack Market. Admire the colors in Old Rathaus market and the elegant Mädler Passage mall. Stroll by the traditional Auerachs Cellar and Barthels Hof restaurants. Marvel at the mix of Gothic and Romanesque architecture at the St. Thomas Church. Hop aboard an airconditioned and spacious bus to see the sights outside the city ring. Head to the Gohlis quarter to see the 18th-century Gohlis castle. Pass by the Schiller House, a modest farm house in which Friedrich Schiller lived in 1785 for several months and worked on "Ode to Joy." Make your way to the Waldstraßen Quarter and past the Red Bull Arena Arrive in the constantly-changing Plagwitz city section, with canals, galleries and lofts. Take in the greenery and villas as you ride thorugh the music district. Cruise by the Federal Administrative Court which is in the building of the former Reich Court. Pass through the lively southern suburb past the popular Panometer to one of the well-known sites in Leipzig, the Battle of Nations Monument. On the way back see the Old Market, the German Square and the Bavarian Train Station. End your tour in Augustusplatz, where our tour ends where you can see the New Concert Hall, the University and the Opera house.

Get to know the city of Leipzig on this relaxed tour in red double-decker buses featuring the city's famous 'Messemännchen' mascot. This roughly 90-minute city tour takes you to Leipzig's most interesting sights, spaced out across 13 different stops. At any point, you can hop off at any of the stations, and hop back on whenever you'd like. The buses ride in regular, short intervals, so that you can stop or start at your own pace. The main meeting point for beginning or ending the tour is on Richard-Wagner-Straße. If you choose a day ticket, you will receive a free 45-minute guided tour in addition to the 90-minute city tour. The guided tours take place from March until the beginning of the Christmas Markets. You don't need to give prior notice to take part in the guided tours; simply come to the meeting point on Richard-Wagner Straße, across from the Central Train Station/East Hall. You will be led by professional tour guides who introduce you to Leipzig's sights in an entertaining way. From there make your way through the city and explore famous sights such as Peterskirche and Bayerischer Bahnhof. Visit the Kohlrabizirkus and the Media City in the Schlachthof. Also stop at the Panometer and the district court during your scavenger hunt tour. End your tour at the racecourse Scheibenholz. Decide for yourself when to start, where and for how long to stay.
