Martin, our driver gave us an incredible and personal insight to the troubles and historic landmarks of Belfast. He is an absolute credit to the city in relaying the history of every area. The way in which he teaches you so much that textbooks will only tell you half of is so enriching. He was happy to answer any questions we had which ensured this as the highlight of our weekend stay. Make sure you book this!

Jimmy was the best tour guide we could have asked for. We could have been on that tour for hours and the amount of knowledge he has on the area and the history would not have run out. We came away having learnt so much and only wished we'd had more time. One very special element was that he tailored the tour to us slightly, showing us different murals that were relevant to our own background. If you want a good balanced explanation of the situation, past and present, book this tour! We CANNOT recommend Jimmy enough!

We loved this tour, my only suggestion would be to make this longer than one hour. Our driver/tour guide Martin was so knowledgeable and friendly. He offered to adjust the tour based on our conversation and questions (which we had so many) given how fascinating the history of Belfast is. This was also our first introduction to the stories. We really enjoyed this tour but because it’s short, we followed it up with a walking tour in the afternoon.
