Discover Kreuzberg from a different perspective on this kayak tour along the Landwehr Canal. This evening tour starts at the “Van Loon” boat restaurant. After a short introduction to paddling techniques and the rules that you need to follow during the tour, head off in an easterly direction. Along the way, pass by the large grassy area that is a popular place for locals to hang out during the summer months. The Admiralbrücke marks the exit of the Urbanhafen. From here until the Lohmühleninsel, paddle past people relaxing on the waterfront as well as along the boundary between the districts of Kreuzberg and Neukölln and towards the former border between East and West Berlin. Relax and enjoy the evening atmosphere on the water while listening to facts about the history of Kreuzberg. The balance between historical facts, casual small talk, and relaxed paddling is customized according to your wishes.

We had a nice tour with our personable guide Helge! The tour was 2.5 km long and you didn't need any paddling experience, of course it wasn't that easy, but we didn't expect it;) During the tour we stopped about 4-5x and our guide told us a lot about architecture and history Special features of various buildings/bridges on the banks of the Spree. We definitely had fun on the tour, I would book it again and recommend it!

So in itself a great experience. To see Berlin from the water at dusk is just wonderful. Unfortunately I got very wet, so it would be advisable to bring a change of clothes. And unfortunately, I think our group was a little overbooked, we were definitely 20 people and our tour guide was hopelessly overwhelmed, which was a bit of a shame. But for everyone who wants to see Berlin from the other side, it is definitely a great experience.

Excellent kajak-tour during evening

We've been on the kajak-tour last saturday and it was great! Especially thanks to Pablo, our guide. But let's start at the beginning: our group (5 in total, all friends) had sort of a private tour, since no one else took the tour (there was another tour with about 10 people but they went somewhere else right at the beginnig). Pablo gave us a short yet helpful instruction and off we went. We took another tour as planned: one which was more beautiful (seeing the Oberbaumbrücke and the Fernsehturm from the riverside was awesome!) and a bit longer timewise...so nice of our tour guide. The group was small enough so that everyone could hear/follow the details of the tour guide regarding the places we've passed. And we loved when it turned dark – a whole new experience i can only recommend. We paid a very reasonable price (18€/p.person) for a more than 2hrs. trip. All in all pretty good.
