    This city tour through Berlin, which you can enjoy from an open-top double-decker bus in summer, starts with the first bus leaving daily at 09:30 on a two-hour loop through the city. Jump on at the time and stop of your choice. Your day ticket allows you to tour the city all day, getting on and off at as many stops along the route as you'd like. During your journey, enjoy live commentary in German and English. The stops: 01 - Kurfürstendamm 231 (in front of Karstadt, a large German department store) 02 - KaDeWe (main entrance) 03 - Lützowplatz 04 - Philharmonic / Kulturforum 05 - Potsdamer Platz (at Kollhoff-Tower) 06 - Linkstraße 07 - Topography of Terror 08 - Checkpoint Charlie (Zimmerstraße / Friedrichstraße) 09 - Gendarmenmarkt (Markgrafenstraße / Taubenstraße) 10 - Nikolaiviertel 11 - Alexanderplatz, Neptunbrunnen (the Neptune Fountain) 12 - Karl-Liebknecht-Straße (in front of the Aquadom, Museum Island / Lustgarten - to the boat) 13 - Humboldt University 14 - Unter den Linden 36 / Friedrichstraße 15 - Unter den Linden 74, Madame Tussauds Berlin To take in the city's highlights from a different perspective, this tour also includes a boat trip on the River Spree. At Hop-On Hop-Off stop 12 (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße), disembark from the bus, and climb aboard a boat. From here, continue your tour on water. Once on board, you can listen to commentary in German.

      • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus measures, on the advice of local authorities, all participants will be required to provide their names, place of residence and telephone number upon attendance. This data will be destroyed as soon as these measures are no longer in place
      • The first bus starts at 9:45 AM at Kurfürstendamm 231. Thereafter, at least every 40-minutes
      • Please start no later than 1:00 PM for the bus/boat combination

      Hop on hop off tour with the white buses was ok. However, there was no live commentary on one bus, just a tape. In the other bus, a nice Italian woman spoke German live into the microphone. However, the boat trip on the Spree was great, with a native Berliner who humorously explained all the sights. Unfortunately, the white buses only run at long intervals. At each station there was a (usually older) person in a red anorak for information.

      A well-run and planned tour. Steffi made the individual points very lively with small incidents. A big difference to city tours with headphones. Really beneficial. We would always choose this personal variant. The boat tour would also be great. The guide was awesome and totally entertaining. Great. We would have loved to stay seated longer. A big compliment to both of them.

      Great price / performance. Interesting tour with great explanations.

      Interesting explanations from the original Berlin guides. The bus stopped at 22 stations, all of which were located directly at the sights. Unfortunately the stations were not marked as such. You always had to remember exactly where the descents were. However, there was usually a service employee standing around for better orientation. Buses were getting a bit old, drove every 15-20 minutes. Spree trip was also very informative. Friendly staff with catering on board. The ships left Station 11 every 30 minutes.
