Full description
This boat cruise takes you from Wannsee along the Havel River to Potsdam and back. Cruise through the palaces and gardens of Potsdam and Berlin, a UNESCO World Heritage region. Here you’ll have the opportunity to experience Prussia’s history. The chain of lakes in and around Berlin attracts visitors from all over the world. Visitors can relax at one of the lidos or walk around the picturesque natural landscape that extends along Wannsee and the Oberhavel lakes. Discover the rich history of two regions near Berlin: the southwest and north. Famous personalities, such as the painter Max Liebermann or the playwright Heinrich von Kleist, lived and worked in Wannsee, making it a place of historical importance. The historical places give you the opportunity to go back in time and relive history. The cruise takes you from Wannsee to Kladow, passing by Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island), Nikolskoe, and the Church of St. Peter and Paul. Continue on towards the Savior's Church, Cecilienhof Palace and its old dairy farm, and the Glienicke Bridge. Float by the Babelsberg Palace, Flatow Tower, Hans-Otto-Theater (Schiffbauergasse), "Freundschaftsinsel" (Friendship Island), and Potsdam/Lange Brücke before returning back to Wannsee.

Take the train out to Wannsee and then just walk a few minutes across the road and you will find the boat ready to take you on a lovely trip around the different lakes. Plenty of space to move around indoors or outside and very good service from the hardworking team serving drinks, food, ice cream etc - not over-priced (or bring your own). Clean toilets - even at the end of the day. Pretty views around the lakes, interesting commentary in German and English.

The boat trip as such was wonderful in the most beautiful weather, but the gastronomic service left a lot to be desired. The gentlemen were uncoordinated and not very friendly. And the text from the band was quite outdated, for example, it was said that Axel Springer would live on the island of Schwanenwerder. But he died in 1985. In addition, headphones were promised, instead, the text came through speakers, so that one was constantly sonicated.

Booking great, shipping great and well explained, gladly again

Booking super easy, shipping well organized and interesting. Unfortunately the meeting point was given incorrectly. Kronprinzessinenweg 3 is on the country road. However, the ship leaves the lake at its landing stage. Please correct the offer so that people do not wait in the wrong place and the ship leaves without them. It would be a shame about the nice tour.
