We think that only the most dedicated garden lovers could spend more than 3 hours here but the ground were well kept and had a good array of plants. The garden would be a sight to see in spring. We only spent time in the house on the ground floor, but what we saw there was of interest. The cafe offers a range of foods but we were too late for a baked potato at 1:00 pm

The house and the garden are breathtaking. Would recommend it if you are interested in the house’s history or if you are a botanic or overall nature lover. It is a great way to shut off the external (everyday’s city noise) factors and just enjoy the quietness. The garden displays varieties of botanic species, worth seeing and exploring.

It’s a beautiful house, the garden is amazing and there is so much to see. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we had lovely cakes an coffee out in the terrace. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. It was an excellent day out and we shall definitely be going back

It was great to be so close to the penguins. My little granddaughter didn't want to come any further.

We had fun . I will definitely recommend It for anytime any day ..
