Great experience! We loved La Cite du Vin! Awesome Museum, very interactive, entertaining, modern & well prepared exhibitions! You can spend hours discovering so many interesting info about wine and its history! We enjoyed the glass of wine and the great view in the top floor. great architecture building! We also booked a wine tour for the other day in the Cité tourist info corner. The tour guide told us many interesting information in the bus on the way to the first chateau. She was very friendly and enterteining however her english with french accent was a bit fast and we could not understand all she was saying. We visited to vineries, one had modern approach in comparison with the second one. It was very interesting to see old fashioned and modern approch of wine process! We tasted two types of wine at both chateuas. November is not the best month for wine tours (cloudy, windy, rainy, cold) but it was a great thing to do in Bordeaux!!!

La Cite du Vin is spectacular!! The architecture is unbelievable! The actual displays are very creative, interactive, and very well assembled. The amount of information is overwhelming! One should plan to spend at least 6 hours at this facility- either all in 1 day or split between 2 days. The wine tasting at the end is fun!

Great experience, lots of interesting information. A little slow, since most of it is in the form of audio tracks, and many of them could be explained in a short paragraph. If you want to gather all the information available and enjoy the museum, prepare to stay for at least 4 hours listening to audio tracks. Other than that, it was a great visit and very instructive. And of course, the wine tasting with an outstanding 360° view of Bordeaux is definitely worth it!
