This trip was amazing! We were lucky and got to see 9 humpback whales. The swells were about 2-3 foot when we got out of the harbor. This is a long ride out and back, but the crew will point out sights along the way, and come around to answers question on the way back to the harbor. If you are prone to motion sickness I would suggest Dramamine or another medicine that helps with motion sickness.
The trip to Boston is highly recommended. As others have already reported, Millie is a very good driver and has explained everything in detail. Overall, a good decision not to organize everything yourself, in terms of time it would only have been stressful and the costs would have been similar. I will now do guided tours more often.
The captain forewarned of the condition of the sea as it was windy that day. We spotted whales for over an hour and got a bonus whale watch on the trip back since we spotted one away from where we originally were. The night skyline was amazing coming back. Amazing time had by all!!
Casual yet lovely. I was so happy my mom and I signed up for this cruise! We got to see many sights around the harbor, and we enjoyed the commentary over the speaker system.
On 10/14/21 sunset cruise we lucked out with the opportunity to witness a blast in the harbor during a dredging manouvre. Saw the birds scavenging around the blast site.
