Full description

Considered the most important event that led to the American Revolution, the Boston Tea Party was part of a resistance movement in British America. Be part of this event that changed history on an interactive tour. Meet live characters, see replica ships, and learn about the people involved.

Take a handbill from one of the colonists and find out what part you’ll play. In the meeting house, hear the story of the night of December 16, 1773 and receive your own mohawk disguise before the march to Griffin's Wharf begins. Experience the thrill of throwing a crate of tea into the sea and explore the replica ships that recreate the original vessels from the 18th century. Inside the museum, travel back in time with 3D holographic characters and watch British soldiers and colonial patriots argue right before your eyes. Then experience the battle inside the giant wraparound theater for a complete history lesson.

This experience was the highlight of our eight-day trip. All of us cannot stop talking about it! I recommend it highly and would love to see school children have the chance to attend the event (although, in fairness, we went in the summer, so school classes may indeed go).

This tour is an outstanding and easy way to explain how important the Boston Tea Party incident was to begin the American fight for freedom. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the staff role playing and they even posed with us for a picture! There were younger children who enjoyed this experience too… throwing the tea overboard was fun for everyone! Interactive learning at its best!

This was truly a cool experience. The location and access to realistic rooms and the ships really creates a perfect museum atmosphere for even the younger tech age!! Our family of 10 went (kids ranging from 7yrs to 18 yrs) and loved it!! Two of our kids got speaking rolls in the skit as well. They were stoked! We highly recommend stopping in at this museum if you happen into Boston
