1. West Vancouver: Howe Sound and Bowen Speedboat Tour
Join the Bowen Explorer Tour and marvel with the Howe Sound islands, an amazing adventure to bird sanctuaries, harbour seal rookeries, and sea caves. Finish with a short visit of Snug Cove on Bowen Island. Soar up the coastline with the eagles, farther north than our trip has ever gone before. As we travel this deep into the sound, your guide will explain about this extraordinary ecosystem that is home to harbour seals, bald eagles, oyster catchers and many other creatures and organisms. The trip will still highlight the wildlife of the sound: seals at Pam Rocks and birds around Christie Island, but will also add in some unique Bald Eagle nests and traditional First Nations locations. This trip is a true example of our west-coast fjord landscape littered with steep cliffs and hanging valleys. You will get a look at more of Vancouver’s history and see some untouched coast line, as it was before the city was colonized. Horseshoe Bay is also home to many unique restaurants and shops that are fun to explore before or after the tour.
