Ride around Chania was the best decision I made to start my first day in Chania. There was rain in the forecast and they messaged me asking me if I minded and if I wanted to switch days. I didn’t mind riding in the rain so we still went. It turned out to be only me and I really appreciate how they didn’t cancel the bike tour when most companies would. Vasilis was a wonderful guide! He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He let me stop whenever I wanted to take pictures at the ring of a bell and found the best routes to ride through a crowded Old Town. It was like hanging out with a friend who knew the city well. It was a good mix of history and good views. We ended up going for almost 3.5 hours because he wanted to make sure I saw everything even when I had a lot of questions. It’s the best way to get a good introduction to Chania and orientate yourself. Bikes are very comfortable and they provide you with water. Thanks for making my first day amazing Vasilis!
