On the day of travel, head to the station at least 30 minutes before your departure time. At Giza Station, there are a few small shops to buy snacks or water, as well as a small restaurant. On the platform, the small numbers hanging from the platform canopy indicate the approximate location of the wagons. So, if you are in Wagon #6 on your ticket, line up by the #6 sign. Wait for the green and white-colored sleeping train to arrive which has the words 'Sleeping Car' stenciled on the side. Bueno, el tren es antiguo y las habitaciones cutres. El tren real cuesta 85 dólares y aquí cobran 100€ y la diferencia es que te llevan los billetes donde quieras. Recomiendo comorar los billetes en la web oficial, que entra exactamente lo mismo, solo que aquí lo adornan más

Das einzige Problem, das ich hatte, war, dass ich nicht wusste, wann ich meine Tickets in die Hand bekommen würde. Ich habe immer wieder geschrieben bis sich dann über WhatsApp die Agentur in Cairo gemeldet hatte. Ich bekam die Tickets ins Hotel gebracht. Die zugfahrt war super. Zug sauber und am Bahnhof hat sich security um uns und die anderen Ausländer gekümmert. Essen im Zug war auch ganz ok. Schafner ein netter unaufdringliche Mensch. Eine schöne Erfahrung.
