Along the reef and caves, you'll likely see Garibaldi, sheepshead, blue moon, and other indigenous fish. Sea lions, Brandt's cormorants, and brown pelicans also frequent this habitat. Harmless leopard sharks, bat rays, and shovel-nosed guitar fish inhabit the sandy flats on the south end of La Jolla Shores. It was great. Kayaking was so fun and had a great view of the caves. The early morning tour was best. I'm sure the current and conditions change, but from 9 am launch to the 11 am return the water got really rough. So happy we left early. Two person kayak was way easier also. Saw some kiddos 7-8ish. The water was way cold for me and the wetsuit made all the difference. This would have been a horrible experience without it. I'm from middle TN and we have 80 degree water temps in summer, this was 68! But the wetsuit made it refreshing and had no issues. They also have a cool store.

The boat Captain, Tim Doug is excellent; we enjoyed and have great fun on our boat trip. How I wish I can share some photos and videos. Again, Captain Tim Doug is great and wonderful person, and we looking forward to have a boat ride again with him.

Professional crew who did a great job letting us explore. Bonus to see leopard sharks in the bay which one of the crew pointed out to us.

Cali was the absolute best!!!! We had so much fun! We are going to come back in August and do another snorkeling trip!

Very professional and fun guides. Great location and fun tour!
