If you travel by train from Malaga, the station is 150 feet (50 meters) away from the hotel reception. Know before you go
- This tour depends on weather conditions. Caminito can close without prior notice due to weather conditions
- Some days, you may choose between different starting times. The indicated time is when you need to register yourself at the reception of Hotel La Garganta. To find the Hotel, just google La Garganta Hotel y Restaurante, El Chorro
- IMPORTANT: DUE TO TEMPORARY REPAIR WORKS, ENTRANCE AND EXIT TO THE CAMINITO ARE FROM THE SOUTH EXIT. (No shuttle bus is used so far from the meeting point and the trek returns by the same path, making a total of 6 km walk, but not passing through the north canyon.) The north entrance is expected to open again at the end of January. The meeting point is, as usual, at Hotel La Garganta but the shuttle bus will not be used. However, the most spectacular scenery of the Caminito is still seen during the trek as you pass through the Canal Tunnel and the hanging walkway in both directions.
