First we were picked up punctually at the agreed point by a very modern, well air-conditioned and clean bus. Then all other participants were collected. In Palma, the guide then began to explain the area on the way to Alcudia in several languages. In Alcudia we had about 1 1/2 hours to explore the old town and the market. Then we went on to the viewpoint at Cape de Formentor. Half an hour was enough time for beautiful photos. Then we went to the Formentor beach. Here we had about 2 1/2 hours of free time. It was beautiful there but also very crowded. This was followed by a boat tour (about 30 minutes) to the port of Pollenca. The bus picked us up there and brought everyone back to the pick-up point. Overall it was a long tiring day in the heat but the trip was worth every penny!

Good day to enjoy Alcudia and Formentor beach. The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel and then a visit to Alcudia with free time to see the city and enjoy the market. Perhaps you expected to see something more traditional in the market that is nothing more than a typical market. But what is really interesting is getting lost in the streets and enjoying the town. Afterwards we went to Formentor beach where we had free time to eat and take a bath (it is important to bring a towel), although the views are beautiful, the beach is very small and there is hardly any room. And to finish a trip of half an hour to enjoy the views.

We had a wonderful trip. Andreas the captain was so professional and full of information-without droning on! We enjoyed the calm pace of the boat, particularly when the sails went up. The food was lovely and a great choice of drinks. We swam, there was paddle boarding, snorkelling and relaxing available. The boat takes up to 12 people, there were 9 of us and so we had a wee bit more space. It’s not a mad, party boat, which suited us!

It was a perfect match. The variety, the mix and the free time to explore everything alone was just awesome. Market, the view from Formentor, swimming and the ship.

The tour was great, our guide Alejandro was very competent and knew a lot about the history of Mallorca.
