What people are saying about Capital Region of Iceland

I highly recommend this tour to all people willing to come to Iceland and see beautiful landscape. During this 6 day tour, I was able to visit most of the beautiful places along the ring road. I really liked the ice cave and the glaciar hiking. There are some other places that we visited which were not mentioned in the program such as Chrismas House and beautiful canyons, which I found very beautiful too. I am sure that this tour is perfect for those who want to see the beauty of Iceland within a short period of time. But this tour is also ideal to those willing to stay more in Iceland, because an 8 day tour is also available. Our guide Ionuț was very passionate and friendly, which made my trip even more pleasant.

We had a great night and saw incredible lights, they could be even seen from the city center. The bus was big and comfortable, the guide Geri very knowledgeable: his explanations were interesting and funny, and helped us taking awesome pictures with our phone, besides taking some with his camera that would be sent to us. There were so many lights and so intense that we even made a first stop along the way to admire them. Also good hot chocolate to warm us up! Suggestion - Take really warm clothes and hats, it will be freezing outside of the city.

Wish we could have seen the lights, but they just weren’t cooperating. The tour was great though. The crew go to great lengths to keep you informed, warm and comfortable; providing blankets and snacks. There are 3 decks with plenty of viewing opportunities. A great tour even if you don’t get to see the lights. Good luck!

The captain knew where to find them and we were so grateful. I was worried about being seasick but the ride was smooth. For me, it was very cold and windy but luckily I had my ski pants, hat and gloves. The lights started almost immediately after 10 pm and still were there when we left at midnight.

Great guide, plenty of time at location! Saw the northern lights, planets and star constellations!
