1. Rome: Appian Way Sunset Ebike Tour with Catacombs and drink
Get out of the city and into the countryside for a few hours in the evening. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Rome and see what remains of the ancient roman aquaducts, catacombs and the Appian Way. Cycle along this ancient Roman road that runs out into the countryside as the sun starts to set over the fields, stopping to visit the Catacombs of St Callisto. Once your tour of the Catacombs is finished, rejoin the group to continue cycling to the Park of the Aquaducts. Get up close to these magnificent structures, following their path back into Rome. Along the way back, cycle through the Cafarella Valley where we find remains of a pagan temple dedicated to the deity Egeria, a water goddess. Stop in the area near the Ninfeo Egeria to make your own Mojito, using fresh mint picked from the fields. Some snacks and crisps will be made available as well. Return to the Circus Maximus.
