Enjoy an adventurous day trip to Mount Etna, including handy roundtrip transfers from Catania. Best of all, customize your tour according to your needs, choosing from either a private or small-group experience in a choice of languages. Explore the volcano’s ancient craters, a lava flow cave, and try some local products, while taking in some breathtaking panoramic views along the way. Start your day with a pick-up from your Catania accommodation in an air-conditioned 4x4 or minivan. Digest some fun facts about the volcano from your professional guide as you drive 2000 meters up. Hear about everything from the volcano’s natural resources, memorable landscapes, and flora, to lava flows that have swallowed roads and buildings in past spurts of activity. Once you reach 2000 meters up, take a guided walk around the ancient craters, recent lava flows, and other-worldly landscape. Rest easy as the trek is an easy one, suitable for both families with younger children and older family members. Try a mini-sampling of Sicilian delicacies during the trek, with some "cantucci" biscuits and "zibibbo" wine both up for tasting. After a short break, head to your next stop — a lava flow cave. Using a helmet and flashlight, you’ll discover the cave’s origins and stand-out features in ample time with your guide. Your last stop is a panoramic viewpoint at Monte Pomiciaro, granting you unforgettable views and photo opportunities over the Valle del Bove, the volcano’s most important valley. We wanted this trip but sadly we couldn't book it in English. After a call with Giselle from the helpdesk she helped us wonderfully. She told is she will help us if thats possible and that she would call to the guides to see if she could arrange something. After 5 mins she called us back and It seemed something was wrong with the system and she could hold our spots for some time. We had to book the tour in italian and she would make sure that it will be changed to English. The next day we had a wonderful trip to the Etna with a really nice guide who knows what he does in English! Thanks to Giselle from Get Your Guide we could do this trip! Thanks for all the help!

It was great had a blast. The wait of the line for the Tempels was over 45 minutes we wasted time in the line and didn't have enough time to see all the Temples.we were given only 2 h for the Temples After that we had to rush everything the rest of the tour..so stressful. The locations were gorgeous. But the ticket situation has to be handeld differently. I think the tour company can buy the tickets in advance for the group this way the group doenst have to stay in line forever. ..

Alessio was a great host making the whole group feel welcomed. His knowledge of the Godfather was second to none and took us to some beautiful spots which any fan would recognise. All in all was a great experience and would highly recommend Alessio as your host. P.S Alessio watch the Wire. George & Em

Great guide who was clearly very experienced and loved what he was doing. Excellent value for money - note - not suitable for small children (we had a couple in our group and they kept falling behind) or those with mobility issues - it's quite a challenging/demanding climb!

A well organised trek. Easy to find Edo at the Rifugio. They make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes and clothing before leaving. Provided more appropriate gear at no extra cost
