Overall great trip. We really enjoyed it and our guide Ester was very helpful and knows a lot about these Sicilian gems. Some things were a bit confusing as there are multiple pickup spots in Cefalu. If you're not sure definitely ask them where is the closest pickup spot. Also please be aware this is not 8 hours trip but 12-13hours. We got back around 7pm. Etna and Taormina were amazing .. it's a lot for one day but we didn’t feel like we missed out on something and didn't feel "in constant rush" at all. For those who are planning to visit Etna these upcoming weeks we weren't able to reach the very top because of lava erruption 1 month ago. So you won't see the lava or the main crater. Inspite of this fact I'd recommend it to pay additional money to see Etna's beauty from up there.. Thank you again for amazing trip.

We had a good tour guide who also spoke German. You have to keep in mind that you can still go up to the 1900 meters to about 3000 meters. But this is only possible if you pay another 65 euros on site or book it in advance. If it's worth it, you'll be rewarded. However, as hoped to see the volcano or liquid lava, unfortunately not.

The excursion is well organized, but the bus ride itself takes quite a long time. Therefore, there is not much time to discover Taormina. It's a shame, we would have loved to have stayed longer. The trip to Mount Etna (Etna) is worth a trip. It's worth taking the jeeps all the way to the top, even if it's a bit more expensive. Still, it's a nice experience. Big compliments also to our bus driver and the tour guide.
