Trip was nice and all excursions well reached. But the crossing by ship took much longer and the time window was planned very tightly. The volcano boat ride shouldn't have been. The planning and organisation of the trip was really good. I had questions prior to the trip that were answered well. We’ve been on this trip before but we didn’t really enjoy the guide. Rather thank being on a bus with other English travellers we were with primarily polish speaking travellers and we felt we didn’t get a good balance from the guide.

The transfer by bus from Chania to the ferry port of Rethymno worked without any problems and on time. The Sea Jet ferries are very comfortable. Upon arrival at the port of Santorini, the buses were already waiting for the transfer to Oia and Fira. Our German-speaking guide Nicola was very extroverted and reported a lot about the island. Unfortunately, the creditors hardly understood anything, since the air conditioning of the aging bus could not be switched off and blew so loudly that we hardly got a word. Overall, it's a good way to see if the island is for you, given the price range for accommodation in Santorini. This day is definitely a long one (06:00 - 22:00)!
