The trip there was very smooth, stopping at a few cultural places on the way. One was a traditional cheese maker where we were able to sample cheese with cranberry jam, cooked on an open fire, giving it a very smoky taste. Accompanied with shots of raspberry and lemon vodka, it was divine. We bought some for home at the shop on site. We were blessed with very good weather, the views were spectacular from the top of the mountain, the town is very quaint with a fair bit to explore and see. The driver was friendly and told us about the history of the places we stopped and of the town itself.

Great day out would recommend to anybody visiting Poland. The views from the mountains were beautiful, the cheese tasting was lovely, the market stalls were nice and sellers were not pushy! lots of shopping, great insight to the wooden houses and how polish residents live. A costly trip but justified with transport from hotel included and a great driver who is so happy to answer questions about the culture and history of Poland.

I went on the trip to Zakepane, a hidden gem of Poland. The trip was so organised. Our driver Gregor was fantastic! Always happy to answer questions and was very helpful. We were picked up on time and taken to Zakepane from Krakow. All the arrabgments for the cable car up the mountain were organised. I really do recommend this trip, i saw some fantastic views. Whilst also learning more about Polish culture.
