You’ll learn about the development of this diverse neighborhood and see historic sites, such as the world-renowned Apollo Theater, the debut venue for many performers such as Ella Fitzgerland, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye and many others. Next, you’ll travel north, to the borough of the Bronx, where you’ll see the home of one of the most famous baseball teams in the world: The New York Yankees! You’ll also learn about the birth of hip hop and view original street art while walking along the streets.  The tour continues across the East River into the borough of Queens, one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the US, whose residents speak over 100 languages. You’ll pass through the exclusive Malba neighborhood, with its many beautiful homes, and visit Flushing Meadows Park, home of the US Open (one of the oldest tennis championships in the world), as well as the New York Mets baseball team and the Unisphere (leftover from the 1964 World’s Fair). You will then proceed to visit the borough of Brooklyn, viewing the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Crown Heights, home to one of the largest Hasidic Jewish communities outside of Israel, alongside a younger, gentrifying non-Jewish population. Afterwards, you’ll head down to world famous Coney Island, a destination for New Yorkers for generations, seeking fun and relaxation. Weather permitting, you’ll have an opportunity to explore the boardwalk, and to have lunch at the original, legendary Nathan’s restaurant. What people are saying about Coney Island

Overall rating

4.3 / 5

based on 1,661 reviews

Our guide, Jorge, was both entertaining and informative. There was an incident that a lady who was traveling with my group did not anticipate. While at Nathan’s in Coney Island, a man bumped into her with such force that it knocked her to the ground. It was unprovoked and seemed intentional. People around her were shocked that this happened in the open where many people frequent. Fortunately, she was able to continue the trip. All your guides need to make the clients aware of the possible dangers of any public places and the need to be aware of their surroundings.

The tour and the tour guide (Jorge) were great, but you need to correct the address of the departure point in your printed and emailed information. You listed the point of departure as being on WEST 42nd Street. That's wrong -- it's EAST 42nd Street. In New York, that makes a big difference! We almost missed the bus!

The pass was really worth it. Hassle-free access to our selected attractions. There were no additional costs. I would buy the pass again

Definitely visit a viewing platform at night, getting tickets was very easy and quick everywhere

Fantastic! Smooth entrance, friendly staff, totally worthwhile
