What people are saying about Corinth
This small group tour turned out to be a private tour. Alexandros, our driver, was very friendly, and we had some very interesting conversations. We stopped to see the Corinth canal, then went on to Mycenae. Our guide in Mycenae was also the same guide we had in Epidaurus. She told us to call her Patty. She was very knowledgeable. Mycenae is very steep, and anyone with knee or hip problems might have some difficulty. The Treasury of Atreus is an awesome sight. The next stop was the beautiful town of Nafplio. We walked the town with Alexandros, and then had lunch at a very nice seaside restaurant, where we continued our conversation about anything and everything. After lunch, we met Patty at Epidaurus. This is a beautiful ancient “wellness” town that has the best preserved theatre in Greece. The acoustics are amazing. It was a long but very satisfying day.
A rich and full day. Nafplio deserves this activity. We visited the fortress with enough time, 1h30. We then had free time in my old town (shopping or lunch). Then the guided tour of the city. Then we went to Epidaurus, with enough time to enjoy the visit to the theater, the museum and the historical site. The stop at the Corinth Canal is a little more beautiful and pleasant. This combo is very good. I was able to get through it but very quickly with another combination (Epidaurus, Mycenae, Nauplia) but with only 40 min it was impossible to do everything. This offer is much better to enjoy Nafplion and Epidaurus. In addition, the guide was very friendly and available.
The tour has been very interesting, especially as it is our first activity upon arrival in Athens. The next day, visiting the Acropolis of Athens and the Archeology Museum, we realized the relationship that all the visited areas have!
The whole experience was amazing, the tour guide very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Constantly explaining the sites and surrounding history in clear and concise manner.
Highly recommended. Perfect guide and perfect company. We really enjoyed the time!
