This experience was phenomenal, and our guide Hillary (not sure if that’s how it’s spelled, forgive me) was fantastic! I can’t speak for the group tours, but the private tour with our guide was very engaging and informative. As a Florence native, our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and context of the structure. During the climb up we learned many fascinating facts about the cathedral and the cathedral’s dome. And of course once you get to the top you get to experience beautiful panoramic views of the city.

We knew we would enjoy this tour, but we really enjoyed it quite a bit more than we expected. Our guide, Jacho, was amazing. He was full of interesting information and kept us in the know about everything we were going to experience along the way. The climb was exhilarating and a lot less daunting than we thought. There are several breaks along the way that make it much more tolerable than we expected. The view from the top is the dome is so worth the climb! Highly recommended!

The visit to the cathedral is a must, it is layers of history and art that, although we have visited others in Italy, surprised us because it is unique and imposing. And of course, having taken the tour guided by Pamela made all the difference, her passion for what she presented to us was contagious and made this an even more special experience.

Very knowledgeable and friendly guide! Definitely worth recommending this package to any friend who wants to know more about the history of Florence and renaissance

Rozella was amazing— knowledgeable and one of the best tours we’ve had
