The Castle is fantastic. Amazing! I'm glad I went. I arrived before its opening at 11:00 and went to the little town next door to Haarzuilens, it's beautiful. With the characteristic windows of the area in white and red. You can eat or drink when the bars and restaurants are open. I got there from the Vleuten train station, taking the 127 bus that left me 16' from the castle. I walked between fields and trees. In summer there is another bus 111 that leaves you closer. The visit inside the castle will take you about an hour. The route to follow is perfectly marked. In my case I had lunch where the great central square is located, at the entrance to the castle gardens. Full of flowers of all kinds.

Getting to the Castle from the City Centre, and walking until the Castle gardens is a whole different experience. I arrived a bit after the Castle opened, and spent some time in the gardens prior touring the castle. Believe me, both are worth visiting, make sure you book the ticket that includes both the Castle and the Gardens. From my point of view, and perhaps as a Castle lover; I recommend spending a whole day here (11:00am - 5:00pm) whether you're alone or in company.

The castle is gorgeous! It is well worth the visit, even though it is a little far from the center of Amsterdam. As we were a group of 4, we rented a car and it was super easy to get there. The getyourguide ticket worked well and saved us from queuing to buy tickets.

Good way to spend a day! Impressive castle visit with informative guidance and then that huge garden and park....!

An amazing castle and gardens. A little difficult to get to by public transport but well worth it
