Start your 3-hour boat tour just 2 miles north of Moab, on the banks of Colorado River. After a safety orientation, you’ll begin your scenic tour. Relax and enjoy the ride. Your covered boat has plenty of shaded seats so you won’t get caught in the sun. Glide down the Colorado River, passing remote side canyons. You may be able to spot some wildlife and birds. Marvel at the 2,200 feet of canyon walls above you, a fossilized sea bed, wonderful views of arches, Indian petroglyphs, and a unique view of an Indian granary. Along the way, your guide will point out interesting sights and inform you of the areas past and present. Pass through the bottom Dead Horse State Park, the iconic Thelma and Louise Point, and a natural amphitheater. Travel 32 miles downriver until you reach the entrance of Canyonlands National Park, where the captain will turn back.

Moab: Guided Full Moon Hike

2. Moab: Guided Full Moon Hike

On this full moon hike, admire the landscape and unique rock formations, illuminated by the glow of the moon. Gaze up to the sky as your guide points out satellites, planets, and constellations. When the full moon comes around each month, it provides enough light to read a newspaper near midnight. The canyons and arches take on a mysterious white glow as the landscape is illuminated in a different way. This easy to moderate hike provides a great opportunity to admire the stars. As you look up at the night sky, your guide, with the help of a laser pointer, will show you the different satellites, planets, and constellations that can be seen at this time.

Wonderful tour! Breathtakingly beautiful everywhere you look. Interesting commentary, very pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Well worth the price. Highly recommend. NB: Because a jet boat is fast, it gets very windy and can feel cold. Some water spray. Warm blankets are available, but dress in layers anyway.

This is my second booking with Get your Guide. Both have been great. The most recent was a 3 hour boat ride through canyons in Utah. A great view from the Colorado River. Good tour guide and friendly check in staff

Rory was an excellent guide and had a great sense of humor. We loved learning the history of the area & seeing the beautiful area.

Overall a very enjoyable excursion. Highlight was our captain and guide, Rory.
