On a clear day you’ll be able to see across to France. Just a short drive up the road from the White Cliffs of Dover is Dover Castle, one of the largest castles in the country, strategically placed at the shortest crossing point to continental Europe. The castle has played a prominent role in Britain’s history, and dates back to the Iron Age. A Roman lighthouse and Anglo-Saxon church still stand within the grounds. Both our bus driver and our tour guide Maria were super friendly and we felt very comfortable. Everything worked out wonderfully, the bus arrived very punctually at the specified meeting point and Maria told us all the important information during the trip and at the sights. You had enough time to look around alone. No guided tour, more free to move and explore yourself.☺️ Despite initial skepticism, absolutely recommendable and very good value for money!!

Darren was an awesome tour guide today. We went to the cliffs of Dover, Dover castle, and Canterbury. Prior to arriving at each location Darren gave us historical info on the area. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was able to add value to our mini-adventures before and after we set out. We really appreciated the trip.

I took this tour with my son (13) and it was our favorite day of the whole trip. Our tour guide, Yasmin, was sweet and helpful and had a lot of interesting information to share. There was enough time at each stop to enjoy the area without feeling too rushed. It was a great time, definitely recommend.

I had a great time with both the driver and the guide! The places are beautiful and it is definitely the best way to be able to see all these things. Canterbury is truly a beautiful destination.
