Full description

Embark on a guided day trip to discover the iconic Cliffs of Moher by bus. Visit Galway and its stunning surrounding landscape and see famous landmarks, including Dunguaire Castle and Kilmacduagh Monastery.

Depart Dublin at 6:45 AM and journey through the flat open plain of the Curragh. Pass the Irish National Stud thoroughbred horse breeding facility as your guide shares a wealth of history and information.

Head to the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery and its roundhouse—unique for the way it leans over by more than 2 feet. Spend 15-20 minutes here. Then, arrive at the Cliffs of Moher for a view of the Atlantic Ocean and explore on your own for around 1.5 hours.

Go to the visitor's centre for the interactive Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience with a large multimedia screen displaying a bird's-eye view from the cliffs, and a video from the underwater caves.

Next, discover the lunar landscapes of The Burren with a 15–20-minute visit and hear about the many secrets of this atypical landscape, home to the warmest ground temperature in Ireland.

Arrive in the city of Galway, where you will have around 1 hour to explore on your own. Discover its old-world charm on cobblestone streets that evoke an authentic Ireland of times gone by.

Then drive along the coastal route of the Wild Atlantic Way to Kinvara, passing Dunguaire Castle and the 12 Bens mountain range along the way. Return to Dublin and get dropped off at the meeting point at around 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

We had such an amazing time with C.J. and J.P! Both of the guys are amazing, C.J. has the best tales and stories aaand playlist, and J.P. drives like a Sir! It was an unforgettable trip, we higly reccomend it! Moher is breathtaking, and in Galway its totally worth to pay attention to C.J’s suggestions! Best oysters and drinks!

The Cliffs of Moher are a must see when you're in Ireland! The guide was very friendly and kept us entertained while giving just enough information to keep us interested. The inbetween little stops are good for stretching your legs and breathing in some healthy country air. Only thing we didn't like was the bus. Our bus was full, and that's to be expected, but we would've preferred a bit more room/comfort. The seats are very close to each other and leave no room for comfort. We travelled with a big group of Spanish girls, all very friendly, but they scattered themselves all over the last half of the bus, thus making other smaller groups split up. Maybe make sure next time groups get to sit together?

CJ, our guide, has been a real perfect host. The trip was interesting, engaging, he put music based on the stories he told during the bus trip, but also left space for some rest (the trip is long). The Cliffs are wonderful and there are 2 hours to see them (plenty of time). Also the photo stops were perfect and the visit to Galway. Definitely an excellent choice, if you are not on a drive trip through the entire island i suggest for sure this experience in order to understand Ireland in a wider way. Thanks to CJ and also to the driver Gary. Well done!
