Full description
After meeting with your tour guide, you will wander through a picturesque fishing village, stopping off at locations along the route to sample the delights of Howth. Along the way, you will hear tales of Howth's ancient past, including Viking and Norman invasions, the history of the 700-year-old castle, kings landing, gun running of Howth (1914), and many many more, mixed with some funny Irish anecdotes. As you stroll across Howth Harbor, you will see the fishing boats returning from sea with their latest catch, and be able to interact with the local fishermen, who are only too willing to share a story or two. Have all of your senses engaged on your journey, with the best views in Ireland, magical sea smells, sounds of the wide variety of local wildlife, and unrivaled food and drink. A selection of seafood will be made on the day, to ensure it is locally sourced and the freshest in Ireland. Your culinary choices will include Dublin Bay Prawns, gambas, mussels, oysters, crab claws, calamari, and of course, Howth's famous seafood chowder.

What a perfect tour! Food was amazing and the craft beer (Hope) was fantastic. The location of Howth is a little jewel so close to Dublin! Went back for more fresh seafood on the Sunday after this tour! Tour guide (Mark) was awesome and provided a short video to remember the whole experience. If I could give more than 5 starts I definitely would!!

We wish we could leave a 6 star review. Marc was an awesome guide and best of all a good Irish bloke. We had an awesome afternoon sampling some beautiful seafood and importantly quite a few local craft beers….and the scenery was amazing. Seriously a great experience that everyone visiting Dublin should do. Can’t wait to come back. Michael and Lisa (convicts from down under).

It was a super nice experience with an unbeatable guide. We were a diverse group of 6 people and Marc was our guide. There was a lot of laughing, eating and drinking. Marc kept telling us interesting stories and facts about Ireland, its culture and history. Apart from the fact that Howth is a charming little coastal village which is very easy and cheap to get to by train (€12.50 for 2 people return) from Dublin Tara Street Station, this activity was definitely worth it Case recommended and since only Marc accompanies this tour, nothing can go wrong.
