Invoked thinking about what people experienced; only issue I had was the music section, mainly noted the effectiveness of Irish music into American music. It had a great influence in Canada- the eastern provinces ie Newfoundland, New Brunswick etc. This was not stated. This type of music is still touring Canada.

It was quite interactive and fun however partially ruined by 1. A group coming over with professional camera crew and holding some visuals for +30min, cannot believe that the venue lets paying visitors to endure this 2. Exit without any warning and end up outside without access to the lockers, had to queue again in order to re-enter and pick up our stuff. Truly crazy!

Anyone who has Irish origins somehow has to go in here. For everyone else, it's an insight into Irish society. Many animations and technically interesting implementations. The German audio guide is consistent, even if not everything is translated completely. If you use everything, you will linger about 3 hours. Little known but really good, the entrance ticket remains active for 10 days, so you can get in several times over the days. Another positive aspect is the roofed and diverse "food mile" directly in the entrance area, which is only full at lunchtime. Ideal to strengthen yourself or rest after the tour. The reasons for emigration beyond 1870 are a little too short in the tour. The exhibition transfigured rather to pay homage to the Irish identity abroad, but not wrongly.
