Full description
Experience a Gaelic Games session at a local Gaelic club called "Na Fianna", located a 10-minute bus journey from the city center. Your modern facility includes a dedicated visitor center, with three public bus routes (numbers 4, 9, and 155) stopping directly across the road. Sessions start with an introduction to what are known locally as "Gaelic Games". This includes the history of the games, their revered place to life in Ireland, and how the games are structured/played. You’ll see video clips and the Irish passion for GAA, and will generally just have the "craic". Following the engaging introduction, you will head out to the astro pitch where you'll partake in gentle team-building activities of Gaelic football, hurling, and handball. You’ll need flat footwear and a willingness to have fun, with casual clothing being preferable. Bring sporting attire as you'll get competitive. There is water, tea/coffee available, and if you wish to use the on-site dressing rooms/showers, please bring your own towels/toiletries. Your trainers for the day will be great; being passionate about their beloved games and really interacting with visitors. Depending on your group, you most likely play some mini-matches, all in good fun.

A moment that is both sporty and accessible to all, and the facilitators are as friendly as they are educational. A real pleasure to discover this part of Irish culture through the typical sports of this beautiful country,
