What people are saying about Eastern Region, Iceland

This tour was a great experience, we were looking to book a glacier and cave tour but no cave tours were available due to the time of year (June). The tour starts with a drive in a van with huge wheels to a lake at the bottom of the glacier. From here you hike up a steep path with rocks until you reach the ice. There you put on the crampons and for the next couple of hours your guide shows you around the glacier and explains in great detail all you want to know about them. Our group was pretty fast so we got to see a lot of the glacier and the surrounding mountains. Special thanks to our guide Óli who made the tour an unforgettable experience.

This hike was incredible, our guide Ollie was really helpful and friendly, and provided great conversation for the whole day. We can’t recommend it enough!

This was an amazing experience. Very knowledgeable guide. We were able to experience the glacier in a way we could never have otherwise.

Stephanie was such a great guide! We really enjoyed the hike. Would recommend.
